How to Pack for Spring Break

So I have been talking about Spring Break a lot on here recently.  Partially because there is a lot to talk about, but also because I am beyond ready for a break. I write this from the library in between studying for a Management Communications prelim and working on a group project. Needless to say, I am wishing I were home to pack for spring break right now.

My Tips to Pack for Spring Break

Relaxing on Spring Break is great; packing is hard. I have a few tips that will help you pack quickly and smoothly!

Find staple items that can be worn multiple times:

For me, that means a denim jacket, a swim cover up, and swim suits you can mix and match. Having a few items that you can wear many times is the perfect way to pack light!

Keep your liquids in plastic wrap:

Ever have one thing break only to get a whole bag of liquids sticky and gross? I have! I now wrap each item in plastic wrap so that everything stays clean.

Bring a re-useable water bottle:

If you bring a bottle to fill in the airport, you save some money. It is also great to fill up with the hotel lobby’s fruit infused water!

Bring snacks for the week:

Even if you are going to an all-inclusive resort, bringing some healthy snacks is great for the airport and long days out on the beach! It can also save you some money when you are going on excursions away from your resort.

My Packing Check List

With those tips in mind, here is my full spring break packing list. If you print it out and check things off as you pack, you are sure to remember everything!

MY GOAL

As always on Sophistication and Sparkles, my goal is to help you get great deals! With these tips to pack for spring break, I hope you can save some money by remembering everything and bringing your own snacks. As a college student, I know the budget struggle, so I always want to share options that are fabulous, yet affordable for your lifestyle. I aim for things to be well below your average price range, so you too can be like me—ballin’ on a budget.
