Spring Break Style on a Budget

Spring Break. My favorite time of year. I get to take a week off from prelims, projects, and presentations to hit the beaches with my friends. With the sunshine just a few weeks away, I have started looking for some spring break style to wear to the beach. Since I spent a bit on the trip, I want to make sure I am getting the best deals possible for all my beachy needs.

If you are still in the planning stages of your spring break trip, check out my tips to save mad money when booking flights and hotels.

SPRING BREAK STYLE SHOPPING TIPS:

  • Check the sale rack first—Even now, the sale racks are full of great spring and summer styles from last year.
  • Look online for shoes—Sandals are literally so cheap on websites like 6pm.com and DSW.
  • Find pieces that can be easily re-worn—Pieces like the kimono I have featured here, can be re-worn throughout your trip. This is a great way to pack light and get the most bang for your buck!
  • Find mixable swimsuits—I don’t know if this is just me, but my swimsuits always dry in different amounts of time. For a trip, I like to bring two swimsuits where I can mix and match tops and bottoms. This means you will always have at least one full dry swimsuit!

MY GOAL

As always on Sophistication and Sparkles, my goal is to help you get great deals! For under $25, you can get the basic pieces of this outfit. As a college student, I know the budget struggle, so I always want to share options that are fabulous, yet affordable. I aim for things to be well below your average price range, so you too can be like me—ballin’ on a budget.

If you’re interested in my personal spring break haul, stayed tuned for it this weekend on my youtube channel!
